## Films
- Ceramic: Ceramic IR Series by Hi-Tek Films. Nano-ceramic infrared heat rejection, up to 99% UV blocked, metal-free, no interference with phone, GPS or toll tags. Recommended for South Carolina summers.
- Carbon: Carbon IR by Union Window Films. Non-metallic carbon film, deep matte black look, good heat and UV rejection, color-stable (never turns purple).
- Shades offered: 35% (legal on all windows in SC), 20% and 5% (legal behind the driver on SUVs, vans and trucks).

## How it works
1. Get a price on the website (instant price picker at https://torquentintco.com/#pricing) or by text.
2. Pay a $40 deposit to hold the appointment and drop the car off at the Five Forks shop.
3. Most cars are done in 2 to 4 hours. Leave the windows up for 3 to 5 days while the film cures; wait 7 days before the first cleaning and use an ammonia-free cleaner.

## South Carolina window tint law (as explained on the site; the shop explains the law and the customer chooses the shade)
- Front side windows must let at least 27% of light through on every vehicle.
- Sedans: rear side windows and back glass must also be 27% or lighter.
- SUVs, vans and trucks: any darkness on the windows behind the driver.
- Windshield film is only allowed above the AS-1 line (a sun strip).
