Ceramic
Window Tint

The best window film available — installed right, backed for life. Serving Five Forks, Simpsonville, and all of Upstate SC.

Top-of-the-line film, not just a dark window

Ceramic window tint uses nano-ceramic particles embedded in the film to block heat and UV at the source — without relying on metal or dye. The result is a film that stays optically clear, never fades, and doesn't mess with your cell signal, GPS, or radio.

For SC drivers, this matters. Upstate summers are brutal on your interior — cracked dashboards, faded leather, and a car that feels like an oven within minutes. Ceramic film cuts that heat load dramatically, so your AC doesn't have to work as hard and your interior stays protected year after year.

Every ceramic install at Torque N Tint Co. is done by Jordan personally. No franchise hand-offs, no rushed jobs.

Built for South Carolina heat

Carbon and dyed films do a decent job, but ceramic is a different category. It blocks significantly more heat at the same visible darkness level — meaning you can run a lighter tint and still keep your car cooler than a dark dyed film would.

It also holds up differently long-term. Dyed films fade and go purple over time. Carbon films are more stable but still degrade. A quality ceramic film installed correctly should look the same in year 10 as it did on day one — which is why we back it with a lifetime warranty.

If you're buying a new car, just had one repainted, or simply want the best film available, ceramic is the right call.

Ceramic Tint FAQ

Everything you need to know before you book.

Standard dyed tints darken the glass but don't block much heat. Carbon tints do better on heat rejection. Ceramic sits above both — it blocks more heat at any given shade level, never fades, and doesn't interfere with any signals. It's the top tier of film technology and the one we recommend for most vehicles.
For most drivers in Upstate SC — yes. The summers here are intense. Ceramic film makes a real difference in how hot your car gets sitting in a parking lot, how hard your AC works, and how well your interior holds up over time. The lifetime warranty also means you never have to pay for it again.
No. Ceramic film contains zero metal, so it won't block or degrade cell signals, GPS, radar detectors, toll transponders, or any other wireless device. This is one of the main advantages over older metallic films.
Quality ceramic film lasts the life of the car if installed correctly. Our Hitek ceramic installs come with a lifetime warranty — if it ever bubbles, peels, or changes color, we fix it for free. No asterisks.
Ceramic film is available in the full range of VLT levels — from 5% limo tint up to very light shades. SC law requires 27% or higher on all windows of a sedan (front side, back side, and rear). For SUVs, vans, and trucks, windows behind the driver can be any darkness. Windshield tint is only legal above the AS-1 line (sun strip). We'll walk you through the right options for your vehicle at booking.
